The family of a man who died outside of a hospital in Brecon have paid tribute to him.

Joel Symons, who was 24, died outside of Breconshire War Memorial Hospital at around 2am on Sunday, February 12.

Mr Symons, who was from Hay-on-Wye, has been described as "loved by friends and family".

A short statement from his family, issued by Dyfed-Powys Police, said: "On Sunday, February 12 Joel Symons tragically and suddenly passed away. Treasured son of Tyrone and Judith, best little brother of Ashley, adored grandson of Baden, cherished partner of Beth and loved by all his friends and family."
