Rugby star Dan’s the man for Wales U16s

TEENAGER Dan Hiscocks has enjoyed a successful rugby season – making a try scoring debut for Wales under 16s.

The scrum half, who is a member of Brecon RFC and who also plays for professional side the Ospreys’ regional academy, was selected for the game against England.

Though Wales fell to a 41-22 defeat in Bridgewater Dan, from Cefn Fedw Ganol farm, in Heol Senni scored as Wales threatened a second-half comeback.

Dan is currently a pupil at Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera where he is taking his GCSE exams and has represented his school in rugby union and league as well as being a track athlete representing Brecon Athletics Club.
