The A4067 is set to reopen this afternoon (Friday, April 26).

The road has been open for a week under temporary traffic management following a landslide which closed the road that took place on Monday, April 8.

More than 2,000 tons of loose debris has been removed following the landslide.

The road is expected to be open by 3pm today once the temporary barriers and traffic management have been removed.

The road will continue to be monitored.

A spokesperson for Powys County Council said: “The A4067 will be back open this afternoon (Fri 26 April) around 3pm, once the temporary barriers and traffic management has been removed. “We will continue to monitor the slip going forward to ensure the continued protection of road users.”
