Across the Easter weekend, Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team attended to a call out at Bike Park Wales.

A biker at the park had come off their bike and punctured one of their lungs.

The Mountain Rescue Team worked with the first responders at the bike park and the medical team from Medserve Wales.

The casualty was extricated on a stretcher to a waiting Welsh Ambulance Services NHS trust ambulance.

The Team were on standby for the rest of the bank holiday weekend, but were not needed.
