POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a small red hatchback failed to stop after hitting a Renault Modus in Presteigne.
The accident occurred on the B4356 Dolley Green to Presteigne this morning, Wednesday June 1 at around 9.30am.
A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys-Police said: "The vehicle which failed to stop is described as a small, red, hatchback type vehicle and it would have damage to the passenger side front. It was last seen heading in the direction of Presteigne. No one was injured.
"Brecon Roads Police Unit are carrying out checks to locate this vehicle but are asking anyone who may have information to contact PC Evans 1007 at the Roads Policing Unit at Brecon or Presteigne Police Station quoting message 82 of June 1."
