FRESH from her appearance with Iolo Williams on BBC’s Iolo’s Brecon Beacons, artist Louise Collis opens an exhibition of work at Theatr Brycheiniog’s Andrew Lamont Gallery from Friday, February 5.

Louise Collis presents the last of a series of exhibitions showcasing the results of a year-long project to paint a landscape outdoors every day for one year.

Louise said: “Based in the South Wales with the beautiful mountains, industrial villages and a fantastic coastline on my door step, I am inspired by the changing colours, light and history of the landscape.

“I take my painting kit everywhere and can often be found sat on a hillside or cliff painting on a sunny day or inside my car or studio on a rainy day.”

Along with a selection of project painting, larger pieces inspired by the project will be on display.
