The Welsh Blood Service has appealed to people local to Brecon to donate blood if they are able to do so.
The service like to keep seven days of all blood groups to supply our 20 Welsh hospitals.
Earlier this month, blood stock levels for some groups were lower this, with stocks for AB- at just three days.
Regardless of blood type, any donation saves lives. The blood you give is a lifeline in an emergency and for people who need long-term treatments.
The actual act of donating blood only takes 5-10 minutes to do, but for someone in need, that blood could last a lifetime.
