IN their most ambitious exhibition to date the Rhayader Museum and Gallery have brought back to the town some rare Roman jewellery and Bronze Age bracelets that were discovered on a hillside locally more than 50 years apart.

A preview of the 'Glimmer in the Earth' exhibition which received a grant from Cyfoeth Cymru Gyfan (also known as the Sharing Treasures Scheme), a Welsh Government scheme to display treasures from national collections in regional museums. was held on Friday, June 3 where guests learned more about the origins of the treasure.
