BRECKNOCK Little Theatre (BLT) presents Alan Ayckbourne's 'Confusions' at Theatr Brycheiniog, Brecon from Wednesday, June 8 to Friday, Jun 10.

The production's director DL Jones tells The Brecon & Radnor Express: "Confusions is a series of linked one act comedy plays, with each play set in a different location. A living room in a house, a hotel bar, a hotel restaurant, a marquee at a fete."

The Alan Ayckbourne play deals with human lonliness and hypocrisy in styles ranging from comic naturalism to high farce.

DL Jones is a regular cast member with BLT but also has a history directing with productions like 'The Corn Is Green' and 'Billy Liar'.

DL says: "I've had a long break from directing although on this occasion I'm very proud to have the support of my family. My wife Nadine will be in the prompt corner and she's been the production manager. My daughter Seonagh will be on stage. She wants to be a professional actress. And my son Ieuan is deputy stage manager. He also wants to work in professional theatre as a 'techie'."

'Confusions' by Brecknock Little Theatre directed by DL Jones is at Theatr Brycheiniog on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, June 8-10.
