PONTFAEN YOUNG FARMERS

The Club kicked off the year with their Annual General Meeting at Upper Chapel Hall. Jonathan Davies chaired the meeting and welcomed everyone to the meeting he congratulated the club on an excellent year.

Gaynor Morgan club leader also applauded the club for its achievements in all Competitions some excellent club nights.

The following were elected to office: President Mr Richard Rees & Ms Kirsty Williams; Club Leaders – John Davies, Sue Price, Jan Healey, Gaynor Morgan, Caroline Frampton and Nicola Williams; Chairman – Vicky Price; Vice Chairman – Vicky-Lynn Healey; Secretary – Sian Healey and Molly Hennah; Treasurer – Rebecca Price; Minute Secretary – Emily Prothero; Press Reporter/Web – Vicky-Lynn Healey; Recruitment Officer – all members.

County Development Manager Claire Price attended the meeting and congratulated members on a great year she thanked them for their support at county events and stated it had been a pleasure to work with Pontfaen YFC. In closing the evening Vicky Price thanked everyone for coming.

BRECKNOCK YFC

Brecknock YFC held its annual Have a Go competition at Upper Chapel Hall with hosts Pontfaen YFC.

The judge for the evening was Mr Iestyn Davies from Carmarthenshire. There were 14 teams taking part and the winners were Pontfaen YFC with 335 points, Sennybridge YFC in 2nd place with 332 and 3rd Llandefalle YFC with 325.
