TWO neighbours from Brecon have landed the People’s Postcode Lottery’s Daily Prize.
The Parc Pendre winners scooped £1,000 each after their LD3 9ER postcode was drawn today.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, former X Factor contestant Danyl Johnson, said: "Congratulations to our Brecon players. I hope they enjoy spending their winnings."
A minimum of 31% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £229 million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
Among the Powys-based organisations to received support from players is Rhayader District & Community Support which was awarded £7,500 last year to run cooking classes for people who have never learnt to cook, whether that is young people who have lived at home or older people who are no longer confident in their own kitchen.
