BUILTH Wells Reserves maintained their bright start in the Watson Associates Mid Wales League (South) with a 6-2 victory at previously unbeaten Bronllys.

Tom Brown led the way with two of the goals with player-manager, Leigh Metcalf, Jamie McIlroy, Paul Worthington and Justin Powell, with a long range free-kick, also on target. Ed Harris and Jake Vaughan replied for Bronllys who were without key players in Ben Bevan and Ceri Ward.

Meanwhile, Rhayader Town Reserves have recovered from their slow start and made it three wins in eight days with a 5-1 success at Brecon Town where joint managers, Tom Jones and Jason Coles shared three of the goals.
