Children near Brecon were treated to a festive and fun Christmas party earlier this month thanks to the efforts of a Pen y Fan pub.

The Tai’r Bull Inn in Libanus hosted the party for youngsters on Tuesday, December 14.

The two hour event was organised to give something back to the community and spread some festive cheer.

Owner Katie Coop said: “We held the party for children of all ages from the village of Libanus and the surrounding area - we ended up with 45 kids!

“Timothy Belcher did the disco and games, including a brilliant boy and girl dance off!”

Children enjoyed playing a host of different games and there were prizes for the best fancy dress costume.

Each child also had a wrapped present to take home - a selection box and a chocolate reindeer for the older children and an activity pack and chocolate buttons for the younger ones.

The pub also hosted a free buffet for the event, which included rolls, biscuits, quiche and fruit.
