ASK people in Brecon who they would choose to be an London Olympic Games 2012 torchbearer and the majority would probably nominate Colin Davies.

That's exactly what a family friend did when he read about nominations to become one of 8,000 flame carriers throughout the UK last May and now, popular Brecon runner Colin has realised a dream after he was confirmed as one of the lucky ones taking part in the Olympic Flame relay later this year

Colin was nominated by Bryan Davies, who said that the talented athlete is an inspiration to all who know him.
