MOTORISTS are to be allowed to travel straight through Brecon town centre once again.

Councillors have confirmed the temporary removal of a traffic restriction despite all but one of the responses received during a public consultation objecting to a council proposal to lift it.

Groups representing the disabled and the blind and visually impaired had also urged councillors to maintain the traffic order intended to reduce through traffic in Brecon's busy town centre.
