Police are appealing for help after a woman was found dead in Brecon last night.
Lorraine Price, from Brecon, was found at her home near Newmarch Street on Sunday, November 17.
The 46-year-old’s death is being treated as unexplained and a team of officers are trying to establish the circumstances around her death.
Dyfed-Powys Police said they were called to her house in Talbot Terrace, which is a residential area, which is where they found Ms Price.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Jones said: “We are not looking for anyone in connection with Lorraine’s death, but we are nevertheless trying to piece together what has happened over the past few days.
“We are asking anyone who saw Lorraine between the morning of Thursday, November 14 and the evening of Sunday, November 17 to please contact us, as any information you have could help the investigation.
“We would like to pass our sincere condolences to Lorraine’s family for their tragic loss.”
DCI Jones said residents in the area could be aware of a “higher than usual” police presence while enquiries take place.
