THE countdown to this year's Wales Rally GB is gathering momentum, with organisers now accepting entries to both the International and National events.

The popular event, which marks the 13th and final round of the FIA World Rally Championship, takes place from November 10-13 and entries officially opened for the rally on August 1.

Stages for this extended four day route, which covers more than 350 miles, include the legendary Great Orme Toll road in the north, through the forests of West and Mid Wales, down further to the exciting military ranges of Breconshire and Radnorshire before crossing the finish line in Cardiff.
