THE legendary Grandaddy will be leading the line-up for the 14th Green Man Festival at Glanusk Park this summer.

This year’s event - from August 18-21, also inludes Warpaint who’ll be lighting up the Mountain Stage with their brightly daubed dream pop, and spiritual jazz breakthrough Kamasi Washington, along with his turbo powered eight-piece band. There’ll also be King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s bracing blend of breezy surf rock with eyes-wide psychedelia and Swedish collective Dungen, too, will be keeping things intense in their own eye-opening, prog rock-filtered way.

Fresh-faced Gengahr, back after gracing Green man’s inaugural boat party, promise guitar fuzz and shimmering melody in equal measure. Yorkston, Thorne & Khan – with their three-way blend of jazz, acoustic guitar and Indian sarangi – are sure to bend a few minds, while Awesome Tapes From Africa Brian Shimkovitz will be playing the most grin-inducing oddities from his vast cassette collection.
