SEVERAL volunteers had a great evening helping Father Christmas wrap presents for Presteigne children ready to be given out in his grotto at the Presteigne Christmas Fayre taking place along Presteigne High Street tomorrow (Friday, December 8) from 3.30pm-7pm.
The afternoon will include Jack the Jester and his troupe of street performers and a mesmerising show by Mr Bamboozle the magician. Scrappies and the Circus Workshop will also be present throughout and there will be carol singing with the Primary School children and many stalls selling Christmas presents, food and drink.
The Fayre is organised and funded by Connect – the Presteigne Area Business Network, David Tennant-Eyles, Connect’s treasurer, said he would like to take this opportunity to thank the many volunteers who are helping to run the event this year.
In particular he would like to thank the the team of volunteers who tirelessly look after the recycling centre on the bypass, which is run by Connect, with income from it funding the Christmas Fayre and other events throughout the year.
