WITH the Urdd National Eisteddfod at Llanelwedd fast approaching, members of the Llanwrtyd and district fundraising committee spent the Easter weekend selling raffle tickets at the Co-op store in Llandovery. Members of the committee were grateful to Co-op staff and their manager Gethin Adams for their welcome. Thanks too to everyone who bought tickets, which resulted in nearly £500 being raised.
On Friday, April 6, an enjoyable Bingo was held at the Alexandra Hall in Llangammarch with Liz Price acting as caller. A concert will be held at the Victoria Hall, Llanwrtyd on May 4 with Talgarth Male Voice Choir and many other artists taking part.
