Three Cocks garden centre, The Old Railway Line, is celebrating 30 years in business.
The business which was named ‘Best Garden Centre in UK’ in 2018 is coming up with ways to thank their loyal customers for their custom and support.
“We are planning a series of special offers, events and activities throughout the year to celebrate this important milestone. We want to show gratitude to our amazing, loyal customers who have supported us over the years. This month we are distributing 30 hampers to our most regular customers of 2019” said Mark Cleary, who established the garden centre with his wife, Christina Cleary, in 1990.
Starting from a small greenhouse selling home grown plants, the business in Three Cocks has now stretched to offer gardening, home and outdoor living products alongside fresh, locally produced food and drink.
Owner Mark said: “Since 1990 the business has grown considerably but our ethos, community spirit and high levels of customer service has remained the same. Offering an enjoyable place for our customer to visit to meet friends and family is our priority, whilst providing the high quality, affordable products and catering offering people expect.
“The business has reached various milestones including the addition of our tea room, restaurant, pet care department, indoor retail spaces and more. Hard work and determination have got us to where we are today, and our brilliant team’s hard work has been incredible over the years”.
Having run the business for 30 years, Mark hopes his children will take on the role of running the garden centre in the future.
“We are looking forward to the next chapter of the businesses and investing in ways to improve our product offer and standards of customer service. Christina and I are pleased to see our children showing a keen interest in various areas of the business so the future of the Old Railway Line Garden Centre will carry on through the next generation of the family,” said Mark.
