A LAST minute penalty from Gareth Dodd secured victory for Gwernyfed in a pulsating derby encounter with fierce rivals Brecon.

Brecon travelled to Trefecca Road determined to reverse the previous season's defeats and they so nearly returned to Parc de Pugh with the spoils but Gwernyfed were determined to retain bragging rights and did so with seconds to go in a typical derby game.
