SOPHISTICATED hackers have launched a cyber-attack on the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority’s website, it has been revealed.

The attack, which took place over the weekend of September 12, meant residents couldn’t access the authority’s website for vital information.

A spokesman for the authority said: "The authority is following its Business Continuity Plans in order to restore services and all relevant authorities have been duly notified."
