All five candidates fighting to be the next MP for Brecon and Radnorshire at next month’s general election have been announced.
Conservative Chris Davies currently holds the seat with a 5,102 majority over the Liberal Democrats - who he took the seat from at the 2015 general election.
The Liberal Democrat challenger is James Gibson-Watt who currently holds the Glasbury seat, previously held by Chris Davies, on Powys County Council.
Ukip is the last party to confirm its candidate. It has selected Peter Charles Gilbert to fight the seat in which it achieved a best ever fourth place finish in 2015.
The anti-European Union party held on to fourth place in the constituency at last year’s Welsh Assembly election.
Labour’s candidate is Dan Lodge while Kate Heneghan is the Plaid Cymru candidate.
The Green Party had originally selected Dorienne Robinson as its candidate but didn’t then put her forward for nomination. Welsh Green Party leader Gren Ham has said the party had been in negotiations with "other progressive parties in view of forming an alliance."
The election will be held on Thursday, June 8 and people have until 11.59pm on Monday, May 22 to register to vote.
