THE 51st Lower Chapel and District Show maintained a tradition that stretches back 49 years in bright, dry conditions last Saturday.
Now at its Allltybrain venue (on the Upper Chapel Road), the event featured horse, cattle, sheep and other livestock classes as well as sheap shearing, horticulture events and a large section of classes for children.
This year’s show queen Chloe Williams, from Box Barn Garthbrengy, showed she has farming blood in her veins leaping aboard a tractor. While three-year-old Maya Perry, from Aberbran, was the youngest winner of the day in the leading rein section and ridden montain moorland (small) section.
