LLANDOVERY lived up to their billing as favourites by whitewashing their their brave but beleaguered opponents in the 123rd Varsity match, ITALICS writes Tom Hughes ITALICS.

Despite omitting lower sixth boys, Llandovery held all the aces up front and behind the scrum and never gave the Brecon school a whiff of an upset.

Well led by captain Gerard Ellis, the Llandovery pack scrummaged hard, were efficient at the line out and far more dynamic in the open where lock Tim Harvey and flanker Llion Evans were a real handful.
