Maintaining the tradition established over the last five years, Jack Taylor will be following in the footsteps of previous pupils of Ffynnon Gynyddd School to represent South Powys and his school in the Urdd National Eisteddfod. This year Jack will be travelling to Cardiff in late May and performing at the Millennium Centre in the solo instrumental competition.
Jack is setting new standards of success at the School to which younger pupils might aspire. He has passed his Grade 4 saxophone examination with Merit in the Spring term and is now preparing for his Grade 5 in the Summer term – the first pupil at the school to be entered for examination at this level. Governors, staff and fellow-pupils wish Jack every success in Cardiff, in his examination and in the future.
