A BRECONSHIRE schoolgirl has plans to spend her 11th birthday on November 11 by walking, cycling and riding over 30 miles in a single day to raise money for children whose lives are torn apart by war.
Realsing that she will be 11 on Remembrance Day, Crickhowell County Primary schoolgirl Abigail Fisher is using her special day to raise funds for children caught up in violent conflicts.
"I am going to walk 11 miles, then cycle 11 miles and then do 11 miles horse-riding,' explained Abi, who has just started Year 6 and is very aware of how war damages many children.
