A MUM has paid tribute to her 'amazing' teenage daughter who has died after a battle with cancer.

Heather Dickens said daughter Naina Dickens-Chauhan had never stopped smiling, despite being diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer shortly before her 13th birthday and losing her leg due to complications in January this year.

The Gwernyfed High School student's fight had also inspired supporters to start a fundraising campaign to purchase Naina a 'bionic' leg, unavailable on the NHS.

Heather, of Llandefalle, near Brecon, said; "She was amazing. It was so amazing how she dealt with it all, she even had enough energy to support other patients.

"She never had a cross word with anybody and she would always smile at everybody."
