POLICE are renewing their appeal for witnesses who may have seen a car in which three teenagers died on its way to Brecon.
Rhodri Miller and girlfriend Alesha O'Connor, both 17 and their friend Corey Price, 18, died when the green Volkswagen Golf they were travelling in was involved in a collision also involving a black Volkswagen Golf estate.
Margaret Elizabeth Challis (nee Webber), 66 of Merthyr Tydfil, a passenger in the black estate also died.
Today marks a week since the Friday, March 6 crash at the Blaenglyn lay-by, between Storey Arms and Libanus, on the A470 at around 10.15pm and police have renewed their appeal for witnesses.
The teenagers, who were all from Barry, were travelling in a convoy of eight vehicles headed towards Brecon.
Dyfed Powys Police said it is appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicles travelling from Barry and along the A470 towards Brecon.
A spokeswoman said: "A convoy of eight vehicles left McDonalds in Barry at about 8pm, then travelled along the A4332 towards Junction 33 on the M4, stopped in Tesco car park, behind the petrol station in Culverhouse Cross, before heading onto the A470 towards Brecon.
"Anyone who witnessed the convoy along this route is asked to contact the Dyfed Powys Roads Policing Unit by calling 101."
Seven drivers, all aged 17 and 18 and from the Vale of Glamorgan, have been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. They have all been released on police bail.
