After many years without a village pub, New Radnor now has a new licensed social centre in the recently refurbished Old School.
As well as serving as a gathering place for locals and visitors, it will be put to good use for many other activities including musical events.
The first of these will be on Sunday, March 10 at 7.30pm and features the amazing talents of award-winning songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Nancy Kerr and Luke Daniels.
Nancy is a well-established songwriter and musician who has collected a great number of prestigious folk awards in her career, and is recognised by her peers as an outstanding talent.
Luke is well known as a master melodeon and guitar player, as well as being a great songwriter. He has worked with some top-line acts over the years including Cara Dillon, De Dannan, Riverdance Orchestra and Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson.
Nancy and Luke will be supported by local close harmony trio Mandra, and songstress Catherine Hughes.
Space is very limited, and tickets cost just £10, so if you’d like to come along, please book by calling 01544 350407 or 01982 551116.
