BRECON-based writer Huw Parsons has launched a podcast discussing various issues and characters of local interest.
The poet and photographer, who previously released self-published books ‘A Brecon Revealed’ and ‘Planet Hay’, launched the series in November.
He said: “I started this to showcase my own work and that of my friends. “So, for instance, there’s a series of programmes on the website called ‘Welsh Connection’ which presents the music of such people as David Cooper Orton, a veteran Brecon Fringe and Jazz Festival performer, and the work of the Merthyr poet Mike Jenkins.
“While last week I was busy putting together an ambitious “warts and all” feature about the city of Hereford, plus I did an interview with the well-known Brecon musician and film-maker, Nigel Evans.
