A puppy and its mother stolen from a farm are still missing over a fortnight since they were last seen.
Border collie Sam, who is only 14 weeks old, and his mum Jax are thought to have been stolen from their home in Soar, around six miles north of Brecon, nearly three weeks ago.
A group has been set up on the social media site Facebook which is dedicated to finding the dogs and they both have profiles on the Dog Lost website.
The Facebook group, called Find Jax and Sam Wales, has 269 members since it started on Friday, February 1 meanwhile the Dog Lost profiles have received nearly 4,000 views between them.
Jax was not wearing her collar when she disappeared on Friday, January 25 however Sam was wearing his.
Owner Jenny Cloke posted a public appeal for her beloved dogs on Facebook the day they went missing which has now been shared over 3,000 times.
In the post she said: “Absolutely devastated to be writing that my gorgeous red collie and her 14 week old black and white puppy have gone missing from the farm.”
Dog Lost published a poster of the dog and her puppy after the status of both dogs was upgraded to “believed stolen”.
The poster says: “Jax, a three year old collie went missing along with her 14 week old puppy Sam from a shed with latch door which was closed on a farm in Soar near Brecon.
“Both dogs are chipped, much loved and missed by Jenny and her family.”
Dyfed-Powys Police's Rural Crime Team has also put out an appeal to find the dogs and asking for information from the public.
The team also shared the Dog Lost poster on Twitter with details about the dogs.
Anyone who finds the two dogs or who has any information on either of them should call Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
Alternatively, people who have information or believe they’ve seen the dogs can contact Jenny on 01874 636674 or 074471 54906
