A POLICE investigation is under way after a body was found at an address in Llandrindod Wells.

Dyfed Powys Police is conducting an enquiry into the 'unexplained death' of a woman found at an address in the Trefonnen Way area of Llandrindod on Tuesday evening, September 4.

The woman's body was discovered at around 10.15pm after emergency services had been alerted.

A spokesman for Dyfed Powys Police said: "We are currently investigating the unexplained death of a woman in Trefonnen Way, Llandrindod.

"Her body was discovered at the address by emergency services who were alerted at 10.15pm last night (Tuesday).

"Forensic officers are at the scene.

"Anyone with information is asked to call Powys CID on 101."
