A POST-MORTEM is due to take place today into the death of soldier Joshua Hoole who died while training in Brecon.

The soldier, from ITC Catterick, collapsed after completing an eight-mile training route at Dering Lines just before 9am on Tuesday, the hottest day of the year.

Dyfed-Powys Police has said it is continuing to investigate the unexplained death.

A force spokeswoman said: "A post-mortem is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 22. Police will evaluate the results of this along with all other information available through the investigation."
