CERTIFICATES setting a health benchmark for pre-school groups have been handed out to mark the first birthday of Bach a Iach (Small and Healthy).

The recipients represented early years groups from across Brecon and Radnorshire. The certificates were presented by Mary Evans, the coordinator for healthy schools in Powys. The project is managed through Public Health Wales.

Bach a lach supports the implementation of the ‘Food and Fitness’ elements of the ‘Healthy Pre-School Award’.
