A PUBLIC meeting takes place on Wednesday, January 4 at 6pm over the future of the Brecon Jazz Festival.

Last month, Hay Festival director Peter Florence bowed out after three years as conductor of the Jazz to plough his efforts into the 25th anniversary celebrations for next year's Hay Festival and with the future of the world famous music festival now thrown into doubt, the George Hotel in Brecon holds an open meeting for people to express their views on the homegrown affair which takes place every August in the town.
