SHOWTIME returned to Llanelwedd this week, as nearly 50,000 people flocked to the opening day of this year's Royal Welsh Show.

Rainproof jackets and wellingtons were the order of the day for the 48,610 showgoers in attendance on Monday, July 18, although visitors only had to endure tame, infrequent showers.
