WITH Wales due to take on arch rivals England at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff this weekend, interest in Butch Keylock’s rugby shirt raffle is hotting up.

The winners of first round were announced as Bella Prothero, who received the Italy shirt, and Jenny Watkins, who won the France shirt. Jenny was unable to attend the shirt presentation, so Brecon RFC director Phil Buck stood in for her. Bella is the daughter of Trevor Prothero, a club veteran who played for Brecon RFC many times over the years.

Butch and his wife Lorna run the shirt raffle during every Six Nations to raise money for Cancer Research Wales.

Looking ahead to the next draw ahead of Saturday’s Wales v England game, Butch said: “All in all it’s great – two games, two wins (for Wales) and we’ve raised over £1,500. We might not be the best team, but we’re your team and we are trying to do our best for you. I hope the Welsh team adopt the same attitude on Saturday. Remember if you ain’t in it you can’t win it.”
