THE man behind the success of legendary British rockers Oasis has restored a disused chapel in Talgarth.
Alan McGee, who lives in Glasbury-on-Wye, has bought the former Tabernacle Chapel with his wife, musician and fashion label boss Kate Holmes.
The couple are opening the Regent Street building as a venue for events from acoustic music concerts to private parties and community functions.
Music mogul Alan said: "When I bought it I never really knew why I had bought a chapel but Kate has turned it into an amazing small venue."
As the man behind Creation Records Alan catapulted Liam and Noel Gallagher and their band Oasis to global fame during the 1990s 'Britpop' scene.
Speaking exclusively to The Brecon & Radnor Express the couple also confirmed Alan is returning to music management.
