A TEACHER from Mid Wales is running in a series of marathons to raise awareness of blood cancer after her boyfriend was struck down with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma late last year.

Keen runner Aimee Rees, from Crossgates, near Llandrindod Wells, will be taking part in both the Borneo Half Marathon and the Kuala Lumpur Half Marathon later this year in order to raise money and awareness for leukaemialymphomaresearch.org.uk - the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of patients with all types of blood cancer, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
