The proceeds of a wet but hugely successful Tractor Run were presented to good causes on Friday, November 19 at the Castle Inn, Llangors.

The tractor run was organized by local farmers around Llangors Lake, and was paired with an excellently supported charity promise auction at Llangors Community Centre in October.

Both of these events were held to raise vital funds for great local causes.

Cemaes Evans, of the Llangors Tractor Run Group, presented a total of just over £4900 to Melrose East (Llangors Play Park), Helen Morris (Wales Air Ambulance) and Mair Lewis (DPJ Foundation – Welsh Mental Health Charity supporting those in agriculture and rural communities).

This is an incredible amount of money raised for local charities, so huge thanks must go to all who assisted in making the event such a success.
