Welsh Liberal Democrat leader Kirsty Williams says Wales' farming minister Alun Davies promised the Welsh Government's agricultural office in Brecon would remain open as the government moves more farming paperwork online. However Mr Davies has now written to the Brecon and Radnorshire AM and confirmed the office will close in July. Ms Williams has accused Mr Davies of 'trying to rewrite history' after she claimed he 'guaranteed' the future of the office when answering a question from her, in the Senedd, in March. A spokesman for Mr Davies hit back: "Sadly, this sort of misleading grandstanding is typical of the Liberal Democrats. The Welsh Government is actually increasing the service available to farmers, and not reducing it." For the full story get this week's Brecon & Radnor Express - on sale now
