ALMOST 150 runners took part in the annual Gwastedyn Hill Race in Rhayader on Tuesday, July 12.

Good conditions underfoot meant that some fast times were posted over the course which starts at the town clock before going off-road to tackle the steep ascent and descent before finishing back in the town centre.
