CINDERELLA will be Teme Spirits’ first major production for two years following the recent transformation of Knighton Community Centre, which is to be the venue for this year’s production.

More than 20 people will feature in the cast for this year’s pantomime by Bob Heather and Cheryl Barrett, which is being staged at the new-look community centre, accompanied by four band members and a supporting crew of about 20.

Megan Roberts will star as Cinderella, Chloe Lewis is her Prince Charming, Nicole Pritchard will appear as Dandini and Jo Pardoe-Bouchard plays the Queen.

Halitotia played by Ian Sharp and Fartina played by Paul Heseltine add some wit and colour as the Ugly Sisters while Tracie Durant stars as a convincing Fairy Godmother.

There is a chorus of courtiers, beauticians, keep-fitters, townsfolk, hairdressers and ball guests which includes Janet Beech, Jo Brooker, Nadia Bull, Fiona Collins, Abby Durant, Linda Hawkes, Sandra Sharp, Rose Whitefoot and Colin Wood.

Music for the performance is provided by the band made up of Katie Baker, Trevor Head, Ruth Middleton and Adam Olds.

The pantomime is produced by Carole Pigram with Sandra Sharp assisting complimented by musical director Katie Baker and stage manager is Jo Lewis, assisted by John Lewis, Ann Lloyd and Phil Durant.

The set was painted and designed by Ann Lloyd with Sandra Sharp organising the costumes assisted by Val Bailey, while the dressers are Sandra, Val and Sandy Davies. Linda Hawkes does the make-up.

Marty Jones and Paul Whitefoot take charge of the lighting and sound while Nicky Warwick is the prompt.

Carol Powell, Nicky Warwick and Michael Harding look after the properties while the cast refreshments are arranged by Helen Wyles, with help from Ann Harroway.

John and Julia Roberts and Alan Whitefoot take charge of the front of house duties with publicity arranged by Helen Wyles and Rose Whitefoot.

The pantomime will be perfomed at Knighton Community Centre on Friday, February 2 at 7.30pm and Saturday, February 3 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
