You witnessed their heroics at the World Cup, and now you can get to meet some of Wales' rugby heroes.

To celebrate the launch of its new Brecon depot, family-run oil distribution company Oil 4 Wales is hosting a special ‘meet and greet’ session with the rugby stars event on Wednesday, November 25 from 6pm in Gwernyfed rugby club.

Oil 4 Wales’ brand ambassadors - Rugby World Cup kicking legend Dan Biggar, Dan Lydiate and hooker Ken Owens will all be on hand to sign autographs, answer questions and pose for photos with local residents.

As the oil brand for Wales, Oil 4 Wales has a strong affiliation with Welsh rugby sponsoring the Scarlets, Ospreys, Newport Gwent Dragons and Cardiff Blues teams, as well as supplying some of the country’s leading players.

Colin Owens, managing director of Oil 4 Wales, said: “We often hold ‘meet and greets’ with our rugby ambassadors as we like to give back and demonstrate how the local community is at the heart of all our operations.

“The boys did fantastic during the Rugby World Cup and it’s an honour to have many of them as our brand ambassadors as they share our passion for Wales.

“We’re sure there will be a great turnout and the boys are really looking forward to meeting fans.”

Ken Owens said: “I’ve been involved in a few ‘meet and greets’ since becoming an Oil 4 Wales brand ambassador and it’s always a great experience.

“Many of the people that attend are keen rugby players and it’s nice for us to see rugby being promoted at grassroots level, which is how we all started. Hopefully, we may meet some future Welsh players!”

Earlier this year, Oil 4 Wales opened a new 300,000 litre depot in Three Cocks to expand the company’s services in mid Wales and improve efficiency for customers as it will now enable the company to make faster and increased deliveries.
