A town council is calling for respect for public toilets following complaints that they are being abused by youths.
Builth Wells Town Council issued a message last week bringing attention to reports that youths were hanging around the public toilets, located at the Groe, and were causing issues.
These include causing damage, drug taking, drinking alcohol and intimidating people who want to use the facilities.
The council added they have liaised with PC Ballard, who will be making regular patrols to the area along with Powys Youth Service.
CCTV coverage is in operation for the area and the council said that they will supply any evidence to the police for prosecution purposes, should the need arise.
