Abertillery BG 21 Brecon 45
IN their final league match of the season Brecon RFC travelled to Abertillery and secured another superb away bonus point win to secure a fifth place finish in Division 1 East.
The visiting side scored seven tries in total with Ewan Williams, Jim Williams, Jake Newman, Jonathan James, Eifion Jones (2) and Daniel Edwards all crossing the line and Dean Gunter on target with 5 conversions.
The Brecon side have shown steady progress over the two seasons at this level and to reach fifth position in their second season is a great achievement in what is a fiercely competitive League. The team have produced some excellent attacking rugby that has ensured that all the spectators that have supported home and away have seen plenty of high quality rugby throughout the season.
Well done to the whole squad and coaching team for what has been an enjoyable and entertaining season and enjoy the Summer break.
