A 19-year-old man has been arrested following a spate of thefts and incidents of vandalism in Brecon.
Dyfed-Powys Police first received a report of a window being smashed at a property in Church Street last Thursday, June 24.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers attended and promptly arrested a 19-year-old male in connection with the damage, as well as a number of other reports in the town.
“They include, a theft of a plant pot from a property in High Street, a burglary at a shop in Ship Street, which saw a window smashed and a red dress stolen, and smashed windows in two properties in Ship Street, Newgate Street, Orchard Street, Llanfaes and a second property in Church Street.”
The 19-year-old has since been released under investigation.
