UPDATE: The road reopened shortly before 7pm.

The A483 between Sugar Loaf and Builth Wells is closed due to road traffic collision.

Dyfed-Powys Police announced that the section of road was closed shortly after 3:45pm today (Tuesday).

Police have asked people to avoid the area if possible and find an alternative route.
